The Trade Agreement between the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and Colombia, Ecuador and Peru preserves, following the United Kingdom's withdrawal from the European Union, the trade rights and obligations previously established between the United Kingdom and the Andean countries under the EU-Andean Countries Trade Agreement. The Agreement incorporates that framework mutatis mutandis and maintains preferential tariffs and disciplines covering trade in goods and services, tariff-rate quotas, rules of origin, customs procedures and trade facilitation, sanitary and phytosanitary measures, technical barriers to trade, intellectual property and geographical indications, government procurement, competition, investment, trade and sustainable development, and institutional cooperation mechanisms.
