Description

The Trade Agreement between Ecuador and the European Free Trade Association States, EFTA (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland), was signed with the objective of improving bilateral economic relations, diversifying and liberalising trade and investment between the parties. The Agreement has a comprehensive coverage, with rules on trade in goods (including sanitary and phytosanitary measures, technical barriers to trade, trade remedies, rules of origin and trade facilitation), trade in services, establishment (investment), intellectual property rights, government procurement, competition, cooperation and sustainable development.
