Description

The Partial Scope Economic Complementation Agreement between Ecuador and Guatemala is established with the general objective of fostering economic and trade relations between the countries, contributing to promote the regional process of Latin American economic integration. Among the specific objectives of the Agreement are: the establishment of tariff preferences and the elimination of non-tariff barriers; the facilitation of trade in goods; the promotion of cooperation for the deepening of relations between the productive sectors; the settlement of trade disputes; the development of investments; and the promotion of economic integration.
