Description

The Economic Complementation Agreement N°75 arises from the deepening and modernisation of the Economic Complementation Agreement N°65 between Ecuador and Chile, signed in 2008. The objective of a modernised agreement would be to include new issues related to trade in services, e-commerce, labour issues, environment, SMEs, gender and global value chains. It is worth mentioning that the Agreement does not leave aside issues related to trade in goods such as: sanitary and phytosanitary measures, technical barriers to trade, good regulatory practices, government procurement, SMEs, cooperation, among others.
