This Law creates in the Ministry of Agricultural Development the National Program of Good Agricultural Practices and Traceability (BPTA Program), which establishes the guidelines and directives of good agricultural practices and traceability in the primary production of foods of plant origin for human and animal consumption, which contribute to guaranteeing safe food for national consumption and export by incorporating sustainable practices in the social sphere. economic and environmental. The BPTA Program will be applied in the national territory for compliance with good agricultural practices and traceability in the production of food of plant origin for human and animal consumption, in those activities from primary production to harvest, transport and packaging, including the production stages.
