Emergency Decree No. 022-2022 – FertiAbono: Monetary Support for Fertilizer Purchases during the 2022–2023 Agricultural Season

Emergency Decree No. 022-2022 established an extraordinary individual monetary support scheme known as FertiAbono for agricultural producers operating cultivated holdings of up to ten hectares and using nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium (NPK) chemical fertilizers during the 2022–2023 agricultural season. The subsidy aimed to facilitate access to fertilizers, support crop development and productivity, contribute to the economic recovery of agricultural producers and support food security. Resources were channeled through the AGROPERÚ Fund, with participation from AGROBANCO and Banco de la Nación.
