Legal framework for peasant and agricultural associations (Law No. 2219)

The purpose of this law is to establish the legal framework for the constitution, registration, certification and surveillance of peasant associations and national, regional, departmental or municipal agricultural associations, facilitate their relations with the Public Administration, and generate spaces for participation. necessary for the development of its capacity for transformation and impact in the planning, implementation and monitoring of the different plans and programs of the state in relation to the peasant sector, rural development, and those agreed on the Comprehensive Rural Reform.
