Peru: Strategic guidelines for the promotion of Rural Youth in the development of Family Farming (Resolution Nº 0205-2021-MIDAGRI)

This Resolution approves the Strategic Guidelines for the Promotion of Rural Youth in the Development of Family Agriculture, whose general objective is to promote generational change in family agriculture, strengthening the active participation and leadership of rural youth in agricultural activities, within the scope of the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (MIDAGRI). The specific objectives of these guidelines are: - Promote greater participation of rural youth in agricultural activities. - To develop and strengthen the capacities of rural youth so that they can apply and manage processes related to agricultural activities. - Strengthen the institutional framework at the national, regional and local levels, promoting the incorporation of a generational approach that integrates youth in interventions related to agricultural development.
