Description

The purpose of the One Health Policy is to foster coordination and collaboration among the different governance frameworks for human, animal, plant and environmental health programs in order to improve prevention and preparedness for current and future health challenges at the human-animal-environment interface. The policy comprises six strategic lines of action that can provide valuable guidance for the activities of national health authorities and the provision of technical cooperation by the Pan American Sanitary Bureau.
