National Biodiversity Policy 2015-2030 (Executive Decree No. 39118-MINAE)

The National Biodiversity Policy of Costa Rica 2015-2030 provides the State with a path that favors current and future human development and well-being; it also constitutes the guiding regulatory framework that orients actions related to the conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity and its binding role in: human development, adaptation to climate change, human health, reduction of socio-environmental vulnerability and food security in Costa Rica.
