Description
The general objective of this Policy is to "Integrally manage Costa Rica's wetland ecosystems in order to contribute to national development through the conservation of their ecological integrity and the sustainable use of the ecosystem services they provide for current and future generations, with special emphasis on those populations that depend directly on these ecosystems.
