National Biodiversity Policy. 2015-2030.

The policy establishes through different actors and institutions the conservation of biodiversity, among them the Ministry of Environment and Energy (MINAE), the National Commission for Biodiversity Management (CONAGEBIO) and the National System of Conservation Areas (SINAC). The policy is carried out due to the impact that Costa Rica has worldwide on the sustainable use of biodiversity, the government is committed through concrete actions to manage a good use of biodiversity and the benefits that the various populations obtain from it.
