EU: Maintenance and adaptation package

Prohibition of purchase, import or transfer of gold, directly or indirectly, if it comes from Russia. In order to avoid possible negative repercussions for global food and energy security, the EU has decided to extend the exemption from the ban on transactions with certain entities to transactions in agricultural products and the transport of oil to third countries. More broadly, the Union is determined to avoid all measures that could cause food insecurity anywhere in the world.
