Law No. 31518 Declaring the Production, Export and Industrialization of Berries to be of National Interest

Law No. 31518 declares the formulation of targeted public policies to promote the production, export and industrialization of berries throughout Peru to be of national interest, with particular emphasis on less developed products such as strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and goldenberries. To achieve this objective, the law provides for coordination and measures by the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation, the Ministry of Production, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism and the Ministry of Transport and Communications, in coordination with the relevant regional governments.
