Peru: Ministerial Resolution No. 604-2015-MINAGRI “Guidelines of the National Strategy for the Promotion and Management of Rural Talents for Family Farming to 2021, called National School of Rural Talents.”

Fecha de inicio: 11/12/2015
Fecha de fin: 31/12/2021

Description

The Guidelines of the National Strategy for the Promotion and Management of Rural Talent for Family Farming to 2021 seek to position family farmers as key actors in the circulation of knowledge and technology. This responds both to territorial dynamics and to the particular needs of their production units. To this end, a mechanism for the public promotion of agricultural extension, technical assistance and rural training, articulated with the National Agricultural Innovation System (SNIA), is proposed. The Strategy recognizes the existence of Rural Talents, defined as men and women from peasant and native communities, valued for their ability to experiment, adapt and innovate in rural practices. These talents manage knowledge and technology transfer methodologies that promote productive improvements, entrepreneurship, social advances and sustainable management of natural resources in family agriculture.
