Law No. 8533 - Creates the National Farmer's Fair Program.

Description

Law No. 8533 created the farmer's fairs program for small and medium-sized national producers in order to promote quality products and adequate prices for consumers. Among the entities involved are the Ministry of Public Security in charge of the security of the fairs and the Ministry of Public Works and Transportation that are responsible for the surveillance of vehicles transiting the areas, as well as local governments that are responsible for helping to ensure that the fairs have an adequate space and order.
