Resolution No. 255/2007 - The "National Registry of Family Farming" and the "National Registry of Family Farming Unit" are hereby created.

Fecha de inicio: 23/10/2007
Fecha de fin: N/A

Description

This Resolution creates the National Registry of Family Farming to which farmers who meet the qualifying conditions may register in order to access the benefits provided for by differential public policy instruments. The National Registry Unit of Family Farming will be responsible for designing, administering, and maintaining the Registry. A family farming nucleus is considered to be a person or group of people, related or not, who live under the same roof in a family-type regime. In the case of indigenous populations, the concept is equivalent to that of community.
