Peru: National Family Farming Plan (PLANAF) 2019-2021

This instrument, the PLANAF 2019-2021, was designed as a short-term plan with the objective of contributing to food and nutritional security, preserving the cultural practices of family farming, including land management and adaptation to environmental change to ensure sustainability. Its formulation responds to the mandate of Article 4, paragraph c) of Supreme Decree No. 015-2016-MINAGRI, which assigns specific functions to the Multisectoral Commission. The plan is based on the three specific objectives, nine guidelines and strategic actions established in the National Strategy for Family Farming 2015-2021.
