Decree No. 296/011

This Decree contains the regulation of Article 383 of Law No. 18.719 of the National Budget (period 2010-2014) which creates the Rural Development Fund. These provisions establish that the administration and execution of the Fund will be carried out by the General Directorate of Rural Development of the Ministry of Livestock, Agriculture and Fisheries. They also establish that the target population to receive support are agricultural producers, giving priority to family producers, artisanal fishermen, rural wage earners and the rural population, as well as groups and organisations that bring together this population.
