Description

This law has the fundamental objective of promoting and guaranteeing the economic, social, political, and cultural rights of rural women, in order to achieve their empowerment and development. A rural woman is understood as someone whose livelihood and income are directly or indirectly related to agriculture, livestock, handicrafts, or other productive activities carried out in rural areas, and who is in a situation of social, economic, and cultural vulnerability.
