Law No. 2.419/04 - Creation of the National Institute of Rural Development and Land.

The Law aims to create the National Institute of Rural Development and Land (INDERT), whose mission is to promote the harmonious integration of the rural population into the economic and social development of the Nation. The Institute will be responsible for adapting the agrarian structure, facilitating access to rural land, regularizing land tenure, and creating favorable conditions for development that foster the consolidation of beneficiary producers, shaping a strategy that integrates participation, productivity, and environmental sustainability.
