Fecha de inicio: 17/05/2022
Fecha de fin: N/A

Description

It recognizes the productive activities carried out by peasant family agriculture in order to achieve the recovery and consolidation of this productive sector. The State is given responsibility for the reparation, preservation and revitalization of the economy, as well as for social protection and the improvement of the quality of life of peasants and indigenous peoples. The Law conceives peasant family farming as a key actor for the preservation of food security and sovereignty of the population. Family farmers and indigenous peoples may register as individuals, associations and families in the National Registry of Family Farming (RENAF), a technical and public policy instrument that identifies and characterizes a productive unit of family farming.
