Strategic document that sought to articulate the work of the IDB Group with Uruguay during the period 2016-2020. This strategy presented three pillars: boosting productivity and competitiveness, promoting equity and social inclusion, and strengthening public sector management. For its part, 16 strategic objectives were established around nine priority areas: (i) promotion of innovation, (ii) improvement of productive infrastructure, (iii) integrated and coordinated international positioning, (iv) strengthening of human capital and employability of the population, (v) support for health care reform, (vi) habitat improvement, (vii) support for early childhood and youth segments of vulnerable population groups, (viii) better efficiency in public institutions, (ix) strengthening of urban and departmental management.
