GCI-9 Objectives

The proposed programme is consistent with the priority objectives of GCI-9 (AB-2764): (i) support to small and vulnerable countries; (ii) poverty reduction and equity enhancement, as this operation has as its main objective to increase agricultural incomes of small rural producers; and (iii) climate change and environmental sustainability initiatives, by incentivising the adoption of agricultural technologies that contribute to climate change adaptation.
