National Development Plan 2018-2022: Pact for Colombia, Pact for Equity

Colombia's National Development Plan for 2018-2022, enacted through Law No. 1955 of 2019, establishing the national government's objectives, targets, strategies, programmes and investments under the pillars of legality, entrepreneurship and equity. The Plan sought to promote social and productive inclusion, increase productivity and economic growth, reduce poverty and expand equality of opportunity. In the agricultural and rural sphere, the “Countryside with Progress” policy line prioritized strengthening agricultural productivity and competitiveness, value chains, rural infrastructure and public goods, access to finance and markets, productive land-use planning, the inclusion of family farming, and the reduction of social and economic gaps in rural areas.
