Agreement on EU Target 55 Package

Member States adopted a common position on the EU Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS), effort sharing between Member States in sectors not covered by the ETS, emissions and removals from land use activities, land use change and forests, the creation of a Social Climate Fund and new CO2 emission performance standards for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles.
