CLIMATICALLY SMART AGRICULTURE: Emergency Decree 106-2021 to reduce the price of fertilisers for the benefit of small farmers

The Peruvian authorities issued an Emergency Decree 106-2021, which provides for the payment of an economic subsidy of S/ 350 and S/ 1,300 to producers who have purchased fertilisers and who cultivate between two and ten hectares of crops, in order to alleviate the crisis in fertiliser prices. A bonus of S/ 350 was also allocated to producers who cultivate less than two hectares and who have not received any other bonuses from the State.
