Peru: Register of Agricultural Producers (PPA)

The Agricultural Producers Register (PPA) is a tool of the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri) that registers rural men and women in order to collect key information on their production, productivity and level of formalization, which allows for a better understanding of the reality of the agricultural sector and the design of more effective public policies. This initiative seeks to improve the provision of government services to small producers, providing them with greater development opportunities through access to agricultural bonds, credit, financing, digital identity, certified seed, guano from the islands, training, technical assistance, veterinary kits for vaccination and spaces in digital markets.
