Costa Rica lifts import restriction on Hass avocado from Mexico

The president of Costa Rica, Rodrigo Chaves, announced the lifting of the restriction on the import of Mexican avocado that had been in force since 2015, a case that generated a bilateral dispute that had the intervention of the World Trade Organization, which ruled in April 2022 to give the reason to Mexico, in accordance with the obligations acquired by the organisation.
