Brazils roadmap establishes that access to healthy, nutritious and adequate food is considered a human right by the constitution, and that the National Food and Nutritional Security System (SISAN) integrates public policies at state, federal and local levels to achieve food and nutritional security. In addition, it mentions initiatives such as the Alimenta Brasil Program (ABP) and the School Feeding Program (PNAE) that have shown important results in the fight against hunger and malnutrition at the national level and in other nations, under international cooperation. Conditional income transfers and social protection programs such as the Auxilio Brasil Program play a very important role. Brazils vision for achieving the goals set out in the 2030 Agenda is based on different priorities, such as fostering scientific research and innovation, supporting small farmers, free agricultural trade, sustaining resilient agriculture and the use of renewable energy, etc.
