Bolivia's roadmap identifies two production systems, one based on traditional agriculture (SPAAT) led by small farmers and family units and another system based on agroindustry (SAA) for medium and large-scale production. The country proposes to promote the SAA reform and recover and support SPAAT, recognizing the cultural value, knowledge and traditional and ancestral practices that provide nutritious and sustainable food sustenance to populations. It aims to deepen policies for the recovery, revaluation and encouragement of the food production system through various instruments at the national level, including the creation of laws for the regulation and promotion of agriculture, the implementation of new national indicators, the opening of markets, the provision of financing and technical assistance, etc.
