Bolivia increases wheat purchase prices/n

Description

Bolivia approved a new purchase price at which Empresa de Apoyo a la Producción de Alimentos (EMAPA) will purchase the main wheat crop for the 2022 winter season, to be harvested starting in mid-July. The price increased from USD 235/ton in 2021 to USD 290/ton. The purpose of the measure is to boost domestic supply in view of the increase in wheat flour prices.
