(PT) Decree No. 11.090 - Amendment to the decree regulating the administration of customs activities.

The Brazilian Ministry of Economy approved the exclusion of the cost of the "capatazia" tax in the national territory from the basis for calculating the import tax (customs value). This exclusion will reduce import costs, promoting a transversal commercial opening of the economy, with positive impacts on the country's competitiveness and integration into global trade flows in the face of armed conflict. The Decree regulates the administration of customs activities and the inspection, control and taxation of foreign trade operations.
