Peru: High Level Commission to address food crisis and family farming (Supreme Resolution No. 010-2022-MIDAGRI)

The Peruvian Government formalized the creation of a temporary Multisectoral Commission called “High Level Commission to address the food security and family farming crisis”, attached to the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (MIDAGRI). The main objective of this commission is to propose measures to ensure the continuity of agricultural production and food supply for national consumption, in the context of the current global food crisis.
