Livestock Coalition

The Global Roundtable for Sustainable Beef and IICA signed a cooperation agreement to promote the sustainability of the livestock sector in the Americas as part of the transformation of agrifood systems. The objective of the agreement is to lay the groundwork for the implementation of joint actions aimed at promoting a vision where beef is a reliable part of a thriving food system, through research and communication of good livestock practices, responsible use of natural resources, knowledge management and increasing the capacity of producers, as well as promoting the productivity and sustainability of agricultural systems and the provision of ecosystem services, by facilitating the exchange of scientifically validated information on aspects of livestock and related issues.
