Description

The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) launched the Adaptation for Smallholder Agriculture Programme (ASAP) to make climate change and environmental financing work for smallholder farmers. ASAP, a multi-year, multi-donor funding framework, provides a new source of co-financing to scale up climate change adaptation and incorporate it into IFADs new investments, which are around $1 billion a year.
