Interinstitutional Agreement to Strengthen the Production, Certification and Marketing of Organic Royal Quinoa from Bolivia’s Southern Altiplano

Interinstitutional agreement between Bolivia’s International Quinoa Center (CIQ), under the Ministry of Rural Development and Lands, and the Regulatory Council for the Protected Designation of Origin of Organic Royal Quinoa from the Southern Altiplano. The agreement aims to undertake joint actions to strengthen production and organic certification under the designation of origin, implement the SIG-Quinua geographic information system, and support commercialization in domestic and international markets. The initiative benefits more than 12,500 quinoa producers and over 320 communities.
