UN: Renewed appeal to boost agriculture and provide urgent support to vulnerable rural households

Description

The United Nations (UN) urgently needs US$115.4 million by December 2022 to prevent further deterioration of the food insecurity situation and worsening disruption of food supply chains in Ukraine. It reports that Ukrainian farmers urgently need to be helped to plant vegetables and potatoes during this spring season, and farmers must be allowed and supported to go into their fields to save the winter wheat crop.
