Description

The Safra Plan is a promoter of agricultural development on a sustainable basis, which encourages technological modernization and the application of best practices in the field, respecting Brazilian environmental legislation. Creates lines of credit for the National Program to Strengthen Family Farming (Pronaf) and the National Program to Support Medium Rural Producers (Pronamp). It is renewed annually. It opens a supplementary credit to the Union budget for the amount of R$ 2,570 billion Brazilian reals. Of this total, R$ 868.5 million reais are destined to the equalization of interests of the Harvest Plan (Plan Safra 2021/2022).
