Description
The Fit for 55 package is a set of proposals to review and update EU legislation and launch new initiatives with the aim of ensuring that EU policies are in line with the climate objectives agreed by the Council and the European Parliament. Its main objective is to reduce net greenhouse gas emissions by at least 55% by 2030, aligning EU legislation with the UNs 2030 target.
