Description

The European Green Deal seeks to transform the EU into a modern, resource-efficient and competitive economy, ensuring that net greenhouse gas emissions are no longer produced by 2050 and that economic growth is decoupled from resource use. A third of the €1.8 trillion of investments from the NextGenerationEU recovery plan and the EUs seven-year budget will finance the European Green Deal.
