Promote a legislative framework aimed at recognizing, strengthening, and promoting artisanal or small-scale fishing, as a productive activity and way of life that contributes to food security and sustainable development with social equity, respecting cultural diversity. Strengthen South-South and triangular cooperation in the field of fisheries and food and nutrition security, exchanging knowledge and resources to develop effective strategies, according to the needs of each country and subregion.
