Message #11 Food Systems Summit - Production Strategies

Fecha de inicio: 28/06/2021
Fecha de fin: N/A

Description

Achieving a more balanced and efficient food system will require an investment plan for the development of large-scale production, transportation and logistics technology and infrastructure. For these investments to become effective, it is necessary for countries to design and execute medium-term strategic plans that allow the development of public-private alliances. States must invest in basic infrastructure and public goods, on which private actors can then allocate their investments. These efforts will require significant support from international cooperation and financing.
