Economic incentive for rural workers and producers and other measures to guarantee the permanent functioning of the supply system for agricultural products and food security (Decree 486 - 03/27/20)

The decree establishes that the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development may generate an incentive for rural workers and producers over 70 years of age who have mandatory isolation under COVID19 and who are not covered by any Government benefit, in order to contribute to their income necessary for their subsistence. Other measures are also adopted (such as lines of credit and authority for the Ministry of direct contracting) to guarantee the permanent functioning of the supply system for agricultural products and food security.
