Description
The Latin American and Caribbean Parliament (Parlatino) approved promoting a model law to help reduce food waste in the region. The measure, supported by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and promoted by the Parliamentary Front Against Hunger of Latin America and the Caribbean (FPH-LAC), responds to the increase in hunger due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
