Description

Rural and peri-urban extension tool financed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries (MAGyP) and co-executed with the National Institute of Agricultural Technology (INTA). It focuses on the following strategy&%2358; 1. The work focuses on the formation of groups of between 8 and 12 producers who receive the assistance of a promoter who will accompany for 42 months the execution of both group and individual planning, with a participatory methodology that facilitates peer learning. 2. The Promoters/Advisors are accompanied by a Project Agent who is a public extension worker who monitors and evaluates the group process, accompanies it and links the demands with the public policy offers available in the National State. 3. The training of all the actors involved in the execution of the Program is a constant that accompanies and responds to the needs that are detected. The analysis and systematization of information provided by the producers of the groups, on the one hand, feeds back into the actions of the Program and, on the other, supports the design of the public policies of the MAGyP. 4. Follow-up and monitoring of the groups is carried out according to the agreed work plan that allows the evaluation of the results of the Programs intervention.
