The event will present the report "Perspectives on Agriculture and Rural Development in the Americas: A Look at Latin America and the Caribbean 2025-2026," jointly prepared by ECLAC, FAO, CAF, and IICA. The report analyzes the recent stagnation of agricultural productivity in the region and proposes sustainable productivity as a strategic axis for the transformation of agri-food systems, considering innovation, financing, and public policies.
