Event focused on the exchange of information and analysis regarding the impacts of the El Niño–Southern Oscillation in Latin America and the Caribbean. Key topics to be addressed include impacts associated with droughts, floods, precipitation variability, and effects on food security, agriculture, and rural livelihoods. The event will also present regional experiences related to disaster risk management, anticipatory action, climate resilience, and coordination mechanisms to support populations exposed to extreme climate events.
