High-level hybrid webinar organized by FAO to analyze the effects of disruptions in the Persian Gulf —beginning in February 2026— on global energy, fertilizer, and food markets, and their implications for agrifood systems in Latin America and the Caribbean. The event brings together ministerial authorities, multilateral organizations, academia, and the private sector to identify shock transmission channels, structural factors of regional vulnerability, and public policy orientations to strengthen agrifood resilience in the current geopolitical context.
