Expert workshop organized by FAO, with support from INFOPESCA and EMBRAPA, bringing together specialists from Amazonian countries to exchange technical knowledge, analyze shared challenges, and explore regional cooperation opportunities in native species aquaculture. The event focuses on high-value commercial species —tambaqui, pirarucu, pacu, matrinxã, and Amazonian catfish— with the aim of generating inputs for public policy, building capacity, and promoting more competitive and inclusive aquaculture value chains within the framework of FAO's Blue Transformation initiative.
